K3 Program
Christ King School's K3 Program provides students with a solid Catholic foundation for all future learning. The program instills a sense of calm, joy and creativity in daily learning experiences within a nurturing and faith-filled atmosphere.
Our K3 program is a fun, creative, and friendly way to start your child’s school experience. Students learn about themselves and the world through play. Catholic practices are integrated into each day’s activities as children engage with others in a faith-filled, stimulating, and safe environment. "Catechesis of the Good Shepherd" is also integrated into the class day once a week.
Our program’s guiding principles align with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) while incorporating developmentally appropriate practices.

K3 Approach and Differentiation
- Our program is child-centered and needs based: the approach is personalized to what your child needs every day
- Our approach is research based and focused on achieving developmental milestones and addressing unique needs of each student
- We offer a slow immersion experience which accommodates children's comfort levels, helping them navigate what school will be like and how things will work
- We offer several opportunities before school starts to acclimate children with other K3 families: Welcome Night, K3 Night, meet the teacher day
- Shortened schedule for first week of school helps make kids feel secure
