Christ King Parish offers exciting opportunities for adults to grow in their faith. In addition to the following regularly scheduled programs, additional formation programs and activities occur throughout the year. Be sure to check the bulletin, website, social pages and weekly parish email.
We encourage you to participate and enjoy these opportunities to learn and grow together in community.
ALPHA
Alpha is a series of gatherings to explore big life questions and is an introduction to the Christian Faith. Every Alpha contains food, a short talk, and discussion. Alpha is for anyone (adult or teen) who has questions about the Christian Faith or would like to have a deepened relationship with God.
Small Groups
These groups provide a casual and welcoming atmosphere to deepen faith, build relationships and learn how we are all called to serve and be disciples of Christ. Whether you are just learning what that means or you have been doing it for a long time, small groups provide a space for you to grow.
men's group
This group is a weekly breakfast and discussion group open to Christ King and Saint Bernard men of any age and at any point in their faith journey, focusing on their relationship with God, their spouse, and children. The group meets on Thursdays at 6:00 AM in the Christ King Parish Center.
MOM'S PLAYGROUP
Please join us Friday mornings from 9am-11am for our Mother's Playgroup. Once a month, our wonderful Christ King First Grade teacher, Mrs. Hernandez, will lead Cozy Corner Story Time from 10am-10:30am. It's free and all are welcome. Bring your little one(s) and join the fun!
RCIA
Feel drawn to begin a journey of faith in Jesus Christ? Were you baptized and raised in another Christian tradition, and want to continue a life of faith in the Catholic Church, or maybe received some of the Sacraments of Initiation in the Church, but desire to receive the Eucharist or Confirmation? We want to hear your story, answer your questions, and walk with you in the beauty of the Catholic faith.
STW
Simply the Word (STW) is a Catholic Scripture series which incorporates music, prayer, small group discussion and lecture to bring God’s Word into our everyday lives. It is offered Thursday mornings and evenings October through April.
BTM
Between the Masses (BTM) is an adult enrichment lecture series focusing on various topics relating to the Church, through the lens of spirituality and Scripture, and is offered between the Sunday Masses from 9:15 - 10:15 AM, during Lent and Advent and other occasional time periods.
K of C
The Knights of Columbus (K of C) is a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society with more than 1.8 million members. The KC principles of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, and defense of the priesthood, guide our charitable works.
The order is consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, unequivocal in its loyalty to the Holy Father, firmly committed to the mission of the Church, the protection of human life from conception to natural death, the preservation and defense of marriage and the family.
Christ King Parish currently has about 50 KC members.
