Have you been thinking about becoming Catholic? Maybe you were baptized as a child but never received First Communion or Confirmation. Or perhaps you've been attending Mass with a spouse or friend and are wondering if the Catholic faith is for you.
Becoming Fully Catholic (BFC) is the process at Christ King through which adults and children age 7 and older enter the Catholic Church. It is our parish's implementation of the Church's Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)—a journey of prayer, formation, and community that helps each person grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Whether you are unbaptized, baptized in another Christian tradition, or a Catholic who has not yet received Confirmation or completed your formation, we're here to accompany you. BFC is a welcoming place to begin or continue your journey of faith.
BFC may be for you if you:
- Have never been baptized.
- Were baptized in another Christian tradition and are interested in becoming Catholic.
- Were baptized Catholic but never received First Communion or Confirmation.
- Have been away from the Church and are ready to come home.
- Have questions about the Catholic faith.
- Are marrying a Catholic or attending Mass with family and want to learn more.
