Discovery Day 2025–Friday, May 2
What: Discovery Day is Christ King’s version of a high-interest day! It's a day when the usual classes are put aside and guest presenters are invited to school to share their stories, talents, and expertise. We like to think of it as a field trip without the bus ride. This is an opportunity to introduce the students to a variety of interesting topics ranging from the fine arts to martial arts.
K4-2nd grade will participate in pre-planned activities. The schedule and descriptions of those activities can be found here.
3rd-8th grade will register for their sessions on Friday, April 4th. The session information and choices for 3rd-8th grade students can be viewed here. Students will complete a session ranking form in their homeroom on Thursday, April 3rd. They will rank their top 3 choices for each session, and this form will be used for registration the following day.
When: Friday, May 2, 2025. Students will be dismissed at the end of Discovery Day at 12pm.
What to wear/bring: Students can dress in spirit wear and should bring a snack and water bottle. Several activities will take place outdoors; students should dress accordingly.
Volunteers
We are in need of volunteers on Discovery Day to help with service projects, serve as hall monitors, and assist presenters. If you can help, please sign up here.
