Musical ensembles at Christ King, the Adult Choir, Children’s Choir and Handbell Choir are signs of the reign of God among us! When our lives converge at rehearsals or Masses we experience God’s presence in the people around us through our shared gift of music. The faith and friendships that grow among those who participate in these ministries are amazing!

Joining a choir is very different than sharing a gift on your own (i.e. Cantors, Readers, Ushers etc.). Choral and Handbell music is something that can only be created with others. Singers and Handbell Ringers work together to create something beyond our individual abilities. Our Musicians don’t all have or need the same levels of talent, but we share what we have been given for the good of the mission. What is the mission of our choirs? We strive to enrich people’s experience of God by offering our musical gifts in service to the parish Community at prayer.

Over the next few weeks you will hear from some of our members about why they are willing to sacrifice some of their time to be part of our musical groups. Perhaps God is calling you to be a part of these ministries. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and EMAIL me with questions. Bill Lieven | Director of Liturgical Music.

Our Meal Program, which is co-sponsored by All Saints, St. Bernard, and Christ King, continues to grow!

As Covid-era government programs have scaled back, creating more need, and with word of our high-quality meals getting around the neighborhood, our numbers have increased. We typically serve more than 200 meals each Tuesday and Thursday evening at All Saints.

We need your help. Will you please consider SIGNING UP to serve at All Saints a couple of times this summer and then throughout the year? Volunteers are needed from 4:00-6:15 PM. More specifics are on the website when you sign up. We'd also like to ask you to bring a case of bottled water if you can.

This is a great opportunity for the people of our parishes to grow together in faith and friendship. See you there!
