Living God’s Call to be Merciful as He is Merciful Mercy is the sum of everything that is good. It is a powerful virtue given to each of us by God. God, in turn, asks us to give mercy to others. Are you merciful? Are you receiving mercy? Are you giving mercy?

To help you examine these questions and to fulfill God’s call to be merciful you are invited to join the participants of Simply the WORD Catholic Scripture Study as we discuss God’s call to mercy in Jesus’ Gospel message.

Simply the WORD is open to everyone — experienced Bible studiers and newcomers alike (note the title Simply). Simply the WORD’s format includes commentary on selected Scripture passages, small group discussion questions, and weekly brief reflections.
