Communications Request

If you have an:
  • APPROVED* Christ King Parish & School Event/Activity Announcement or 
  • Other Church/Organization Event/Activity Courtesy Announcement or
  • News Story, or
  • Informational Announcement
to be advertised or communicated to all parishioners and families, scroll down and complete the Communications Request Form. 
 
*APPROVED = You have completed all steps on our EVENT & ACTIVITY CHECKLIST.

 
Communication Channel Options:
  • Weekly Bulletin (hardcopy & electronic) | Distributed after Masses each Weekend | Electronically linked to website on Thursdays
    • Occasionally will be stuffed with additional separate flyer inserts
    • Deadline submission: Friday of the previous weekend. If a flyer is approved to be stuffed into the bulletin, 750 copies need to be at parish office for stuffing by Thursday mornings (or earlier).
  • Weekly Parish-wide EConnect (email blast) | Released Friday at Noon.
    • Timely announcements related to the immediate weekend and upcoming week. Friday to Friday. Ocassional look ahead to following week: "Save the Date"
    • Deadline submission: Thursday Mornings.
  • Weekly School Wednesday Wireless (email blast) | Released on Wednesday afternoon.
    • Student Blue Folders stuffed with any accompanying hardcopy flyers and documents
    • Deadline submission: Tuesday morning. If a flyer is approved to be stuffed into student blue folders, 250 copies need to be at the school office by the Wednesday morning bell.
  • Weekly Children's Faith Formation Email (email blast) | Released on Tuesday morning 
    • Corresponding Hardcopy Flyers or Documents can be handed out during Sunday Class
    • Deadline submission: Friday of previous week. Please note: announcements are added at the discretion of the Director and are rarely allowed. If a flyer is approved to be handed out during Sunday formation classes, copies need to be at the parish office by Thursday.
  • Website
      • Can have a link to a dedicated webpage or electronic flyer/doc with full details
      • Deadline is open and determined by date of event/activity and the requester. 
      • Can have a link to a dedicated webpage or electronic flyer/doc with full details
      • Deadline is open and determined by date of event/activity and the requester. 
      • Always linked to either a dedicated webpage or electronic flyer/doc with full details
      • Deadline is open and determined by date of event/activity and the requester. 
    • Detailed Dedicated Webpage with full Announcement info and graphics
      • Location of webpage (category heading) and deadline is open and determined by date of event/activity and the requester. 
  • Priest or Pulpit Announcements (verbal, end-of-Mass, occassional, limited)
    • Deadline submission: Wednesday
  • Facebook
    • Event - Event/Activity info and details remain visible on the page for a designated length of time
      • Deadline is open and determined by date of event/activity and the requester. 
    • General Post - Event/Activity or Informational Announcement remains visible until other posts take it's place. Can request to have the post "pinned" to the tope of the page for a few days.
      • Deadline is open and determined by date of event/activity and the requester. 
  • Other Specialty Printed Pieces (booklets, posters, easel displays, flyers, brochures, etc. - limited)
    • If being produced by us, deadline for submission is at least a month or more from date needed
    • If already produced and provided to us, deadline for delivering to parish office for placement/dispursement is open and determined by the event/activity date(s) and the requester.
 
We will make every effort to include your announcement submission in any or all of the channels you request but cannot gaurantee it. Space availability, time restrictions and other factors determine inclusion. Your announcement may appear in more channels than requested. Usually, parish related or sponsored events, activities, news or information as well as the parishes in our collaborative are given priority over courtesy announcements from other parishes or organizations.
