From the Office:

October School Calendar:  Attached to this Wireless is the October Calendar.  Please review it for special events.  Our liturgies and prayer services are now included so that parents are aware of the school prayer experiences.

Clothing Resale Helpers:  If you can spare an hour or two, please contact Stephanie Hutchinson to volunteer your services anytime between Wednesday, September 24th, 12:30 until Saturday, September27th.  This is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Home and School during the year.  Remember that those 40 hours of service add up fast.

Washington D.C. Meeting Tuesday, September 30th:  Mr. Heck will be holding this meeting for all parents who are intending to send their child or children to Washington D.C. in spring.  This is a mandatory meeting for all parents, as guidelines for the trip will be discussed, as well at the actual tour itself.  The meeting will begin at 6:30 P.M. in the South Hall.

Catholic Knights Insurance:  The school is not endorsing the Catholic Knights Insurance Company.  We are merely handing out the information in case you are interested in purchasing this life insurance for your child or children now so that it can be switched to permanent "cash value" life insurance before the child is 23 years old.  Should you decide to purchase the insurance, Christ King School would receive a one-time donation of $20.00 per child enrolled in the policy prior to October 15th.

Picture Re-Take Reminder:  Picture re-take will be on Monday, September 29th, for those students who were absent and/or having retakes.  If you have not returned your photo information, please do so as one of the pictures will be used for the yearbook.  If retakes are needed, please return the form stating the reason for the retake.

Child’s Black Bike:  If you are missing a child’s bike, it is in the bushes outside of the Church entrance.

“Respect Begins With Me” Tees:  Here is great news for those who didn’t get around to ordering their “Respect Begins With Me” T-shirt.  We will be placing a second order on Friday, October 3rd.  Order forms are in the school office now.  Shirts should be delivered to school in time for our second T-shirt day on October 29th.  Don’t miss this final opportunity to own a shirt designed by one of our 8th grade students.

School Sisters of St. Francis:  You are invited to the School Sisters of St. Francis Pancake Breakfast/Fall Festival, October 12th, from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.  If you are interested in the Grand Raffle, please see Sister Janet for tickets ($2.00 each or 6 for $10.00; you do not need to be present to win).
