Christ
King feels like a home away from home…I graduated from CK in 1990
after completing 2nd through 8th grade. In 1994, I graduated from Pius
XI High School and then continued my education at UW-Whitewater, where
I received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education in May, 1999.
In 2003, I received my Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems
from the University of Phoenix-Milwaukee Campus.
In May of 1999, I received an offer from Christ King to teach in the computer
lab. It has been very rewarding, sometimes challenging, but overall a
great teaching experience. I love seeing the students’ eyes light
up when they’ve discovered something “new” that the
computer can do.
My goal for the students at Christ King includes having the students understand
what computers can and cannot to and the best way to utilize technology
in everyday” life.
In July 2003, I married a very special man, who handles being married
to a teacher quite well. We’ve adopted two greyhounds, Tina and
Maggie, who are 35mph couch potatoes! (But boy can they run!)I’m
excited to start my seventh year at Christ King and can’t wait to
see what the children and I can teach each other!
