Cattholic
education and my faith have been a part of me for my entire life. After
high school, I was received into the community of the School Sisters of
St. Francis. I attended Catholic Grade and High Schools and then earned
a BSEd at Alverno College. Following graduation, I began teaching at various
schools in the Milwaukee area. I continued my education by earning a Master
of Arts in Administration at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa.
I believe in youth, who are the future of the world tomorrow. As an educator,
I see my responsibility to provide students with the opportunities to
develop themselves spiritually, intellectually, morally, socially, psychologically
and physically. My role is to be a catalyst who provides the stimuli,
personnel, and the environment for learning and development to take place.
I believe that every child can learn when given the opportunities to succeed
at his or her appropriate level. I see youth as the church of tomorrow,
the leaders of society and the inventors of the future. I believe in allowing
them the freedom to shape the future with directed guidance from their
parents and teachers.
As an Administrator, I believe in giving staff the freedom to develop
programs that will meet the needs of all students. I encourage teachers
to try all modes of learning when assisting children to gain knowledge.
I see modeling as being one of the best teachers. Through the generosity
of the parents of Christ King School, I am able to provide teachers with
the best tools and inservice opportunites available so that they are better
able to meets the needs of each child.
