Hi, my name
is Cheryl Harvey. I was born and raised in Milwaukee where I atended St.Sebastian
Grade School and Holy Angels High School. From there I traveled north
and earned my teaching degree at St. Norbert College. As you can see,
I am a product of a Catholic education in Wisconsin.
I began my teaching career as a first grade teacher at St. Casimir School
in Milwaukee and since then have had the opportunity of being a faculty
member at some other great Catholic schools in the area. I’ve worn
many hats in my teaching career… I’ve been a librarian, taught
first grade, second grade, third grade, and now I am the Reading Resource
person here at Christ King School. I LOVE to read, and I enjoy sharing
that love and excitement with children.
Most of my family reside in the Milwaukee area with the exception of my
two daughters. They both attended the University of Minnesota in the Twin
Cities and loved it. They now have made Minneapolis their home. I really
miss them, but it is a great place to visit.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, stamping, calligraphy, and watching
HGTV. I’m afraid t hat I’m addicted!
