My name is Carrie Dykstra. I have been teaching art to children since 1995.

.I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. I live my husband and two beautiful young children in a home that we built in the country very near to the Horicon Marsh. We love being so close to nature, and it provides inspiration for much of my own artwork. I enjoy painting, drawing, reading and sewing in my free time.

My favorite painters (besides so many kindergarteners) are John Singer Sargeant, Paul Klee, and Pierre Bernard.
