School Advisory Committee

The Christ King School Advisory Committee (CKSAC) accepts the task of working with principal in an advisory capacity on general operational matters pertaining to the school.  When called upon, the committee’s role is to gather and present pertinent information on matters deemed appropriate by the principal.  Periodically, the principal will bring forth issues or challenges requiring school community input or specific expertise; the committee will then gather data for discussion and collaboratively work with the principal to help him/her evaluate options.  The School Advisory Committee is also charged with assisting the principal in publicizing and supporting educational programs and other initiatives taking place at the school.  The Christ King School Advisory Committee is not charged with policy-making, personnel matters or curriculum tasks.

It is believed that a School Advisory Committee should exist in the best interests of Christ King Parish and School.  Issues requiring school community input or specific expertise will be brought before this committee for its advice and research. It is believed this will result in enhanced growth
brought about with and on behalf of the stakeholders of Christ King Parish and School.

New members to this important committee are needed as individuals complete their terms.  If you have an interest in serving on the School Advisory Committee, please contact the principal.
