Welcome To Christ King School Website

Christ King School is a parish-based Catholic School located in the city of Wauwatosa.  Our school promotes a value-based curriculum which incorporates lifelong learning skills.  This is an institution of both faith formation as well as an example of outstanding academic development. Christ King School does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, national origin, or creed.

Daily prayer, weekly attendance at liturgies or prayer services and frequent reception of the sacraments help to bring the children closer to Jesus, their Model.  Discussions in both religion and other classes lead the children to look beyond themselves and be of service to others in school, their home, their parish or the local and global community.

Children in K4 through Grade 1 are taught by individual homeroom teachers.  Beginning in Grade 2 through Grade 5 the children change classes for one or two different subjects taught by a teacher on that particular level.   In middle school students are multi aged in the homerooms but are taught by teachers each specializing in their own subject matter. All students are taught weekly or twice weekly by an art, computer, music, physical education and Spanish specialist.  In addition to all of the above teachers, our lower grade children may have the opportunity to work with a resource teacher and our librarian serves the entire student body.  With high standards as the guideline, our qualified faculty and staff members are dedicated to each child’s education by maintaining a commitment to excellence.
