Service Projects

Our school has a three-fold mission, which includes revealing the message of God, fellowship with the community and service to others.  Christ King School has a varied and developmentally appropriate service program. Service is provided both during school hours and at home.  Service projects may also be planned in conjunction with parish programs.  Service is not only collecting money for different groups.  It is also doing something for others without being paid to do the work involved.  We encourage students to participate in such projects as:
            Parish food drives
            Operation Rice Bowl
            Toys for Tots
            Coats for Kids
            Maggie’ Smile
            Habitat for Humanity
            Read to Feed

Students in Grade 5 through 8 choose a variety of projects performed in four different areas. Projects may be performed in the school, for the parish or the community and in the family.
