Field Trips

Field trips are planned in order to enhance the learning experience of the students.  They may either be an experience that students are not able to have in their individual room or enrichment to something that is presently being taught by the teachers.

Students are transported by bus to and from the events, except in special situations. Parental written permission is required for all field trips.  These programs are part of the school day and all students are expected to participate. Financial assistance is available upon request.

Individual students are either picked or decide on their own to enter various competitions during the year.  These may be
            DSHA Excelathon
            Marquette Math Meet
Pius XI Fine Arts, Math and English Competitions
            Dominican Challenge
