Communication
We encourage frequent communication between parents and teachers. Our channels of communication are the following:
Conferences:
- Mandatory conferences are held in November after report cards are distributed.
- Optional conferences are held at the end of the second quarter, usually toward the end of January.
- If a concern arises, call the individual and set up an appointment for a conference.
Phone:
- Call the office (258-4260) to request a teacher to return your call.
- Teachers are not able to come to the phone during teaching times.
Written Communication:
- Report cards are sent home quarterly.
- Progress reports are available on the web grader. Individual profiles are sent home at parent request only.
- If a concern arises, send a note to the teacher in a sealed envelop and the teacher will respond in like manner.
Computer:
- Read the Wireless Newsletter on the Christ King Web site. (This is posted each Wednesday afternoon by 3:00PM.)
- Look at the Christ King Web site for periodic updates.
- Check out the various links to the Christ King Web site.
- Visit the teacher web pages on the Classroom page.
- Access Web Grader to view pupil progress in each subject area. You need to get the password for your child from either the office or the computer teacher.
