COMMITTEE MEETINGS

 

Committee meetings are held once a month to review plans for upcoming events.  The Committee meetings are to be attended by:

 

Committee Meetings usually begin at 7pm in the designated/reserved Parish Council Room.

 

August 15th    Cub Scout Kick-Off Committee meeting Ð overall planning, budget, open appointments, prepare for parent meeting.

 

September 10th Finalize plans for Candy Sale.  Begin planning for dessert auction.  Candy sale, and dessert auction chairpersons, please attend.

 

October 15th Finalize plans for the dessert auction.  Begin planning for Christmas party.   Dessert auction and Christmas party chairpersons, please attend.

 

November 12th   Finalize plans for Candy Sale Awards and Christmas party.  Begin planning winter event.  Christmas party, Candy Sale, and winter event chairpersons, please attend.

 

December 3rd   Finalize plans for winter event.  Begin planning for Blue and Gold Dinner.  Winter event, and Blue and Gold chairpersons, please attend.

 

January 7th Begin planning for Pinewood Derby (handing out cars), Spring event, and Webelo Overnight.  Blue and Gold Dinner, and Pinewood Derby Chairperson, please attend.

 

February 11th           Finalize plans for Blue and Gold Dinner, and Pinewood Derby.  Begin planning for Scouting For Food.  Plan for Indian Mound Reservation, Rechartering efforts, and Arrow of Light Presentation.  All chairpersons, please attend.

 

March (TBA) Begin planning for Softball.  Softball chairpersons, please attend.

 

April 7th   Finalize plans for softball, and Webelo overnight.  Begin plans for Advancement night, and All Scout Mass.  Softball, All-Scout Mass, and Webelo overnight chairpersons, please attend.

 

May 5th  Finalize Plans for Advancement Night and All Scout Mass.  All-Scout Mass chairperson, please attend.

 

June 9th   Review past year.  Set 2008-2009 calendar to include pack and committee meeting dates.  Officers and event chairpersons, please attend.  Remind secretary to reserve rooms.
