Christ King Parish offers exciting opportunities for adults and families grow in their faith. In addition to the following regularly scheduled programs, additional formation programs and activities occur throughout the year. Please be sure to check the bulletin or our calendar for more information. We encourage you to participate and enjoy these opportunities to learn and grow together in community.
Between the Masses is a monthly adult enrichment lecture series focusing on various topics relating to the Church, spirituality, and Scripture. They usually run during the Advent and Lent seasons.
These groups offer an opportunity for parishioners to come together for faith sharing, prayer and fellowship. There's a group that's perfect for everyone; couples, singles, men, women, mixed, and young adults. They provide a casual and welcoming atmosphere to deepen faith, build relationships and learn how we are all called to serve and be disciples of Christ. Whether you are just learning what that means or you have been doing it for a long time, small groups provide a space for you to grow.
This Catholic Scripture series incorporates music, prayer, small group discussion and lecture to bring God’s Word into our everyday lives. It is offered Thursday mornings and evenings during October through April. For information, please contact Simply the Word Coordinator Cindy Schmidt at 414-476-2413 - Email
Parish men are invited to come together for a weekly gathering to learn more about their faith, about prayer, and about walking together as disciples. The group meets Thursday's starting at 6:00 AM with breakfast during which time the group views a video followed by meeting in small groups to discuss, the video or other topics concerning their spirituality and faith and how to grow in the path of discipleship. The morning wraps up no later than 7:30 AM. The group is open to all men of any age and at any point in one’s faith journey. Please contact Pat Masterson at 414-732-3361 - Email
Parish moms are invited to come together for a weekly gathering to read and discuss the upcoming Sunday readings so that they can be more present at Mass on Sunday and provide encouragment to each other to grow closer to Christ through scripture.
Becoming Catholic...Have you ever thought about taking the next step? Perhaps you have never been part of a Christian community or never been baptized, but now you have felt drawn to begin this journey of faith in Jesus Christ.
Perhaps you've been baptized and raised in another Christian tradition, but now you want to continue your life of faith in the Catholic Church ... or at least explore what that means.
If either of these describes you, we would very much like to hear from you. We want to listen to your story of faith or non-faith, answer your questions, and share with you the beauty, truth, and wonder of the Catholic faith.
Through the RCIA, adults are welcomed into a supportive group process whereby they may expand their search for the Lord through discussion, study, reflection, faith sharing, and prayer. If you want to know more, please contact Deacon John Ebel.
