FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What time are masses at Christ King? 
    • Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
    • Daily Mass (Tuesday-Friday) at 8:00 a.m.
    • For holiday's and Holy Day's of Obligation, please check the event calendar or our bulletin that is dated closest to the holiday.

  • When do you have Reconciliation at Christ King?
    • We have scheduled confessions on Saturdays at 9 a.m. and by appointment by calling the parish office at 414-258-2604.  Please note the schedule may change during holiday weekends and the seasons of Advent and Lent.  During these times please check our bulletin for details.
      • At Christ King, the celebration of the sacrament generally takes place in the main body of the church in one of the “confessionals” (the doors on the sides of the church). During scheduled times look for an open door and a light. The light is on for you!
         
  • Do you have Eucharistic Adoration at Christ King? 
    • Yes. We have scheduled Adoration on Thursdays and Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and on the first Friday of each month Adoration is during the regularly scheduled time and continues after the mass until 1 p.m.

  • We would like to have our child Baptized – what steps do we need to do? 
    • Please call the Parish office at 414-258-2604 and talk with Ann or Shelley to make arrangements and find out next steps.

  • Can one of the priests please visit a sick member of our family
    • Yes – Please call the parish office at 414-258-2604

  • What can I do to have prayers offered for me or a family member who is sick?

  • Can Communion be taken to a homebound parishioner?
    • Yes

  • Where is Christ King located?
    • Our mailing address is 2604 N Swan Blvd in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.  We are located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Center Street and Swan Boulevard (92nd Street). View maps and directions.

  • How do I get to Christ King Parish?
    • From I-45, take either the North Avenue or Burleigh exits and proceed east to 92nd Street.  If you exit at North Avenue, turn left on 92nd Street (Swan Blvd.) and if you exit at Burleigh, turn right on 92nd Street. View maps and directions.

  • Where should I park when I visit Christ King Parish?
    • When visiting Christ King you may park in our parking lots on the north and east sides of the school.  If the lot is full there is plenty of parking nearby on Center St., Swan Blvd. or other neighborhood streets.
       
  • How do I get into the church at Christ King?
    • We have main entrances to the church on Swan Blvd and on 91st Street.  Both entrances are near the south end of the block closest to Clark Street.  Below you will also find a list of other entrances into our buildings and how to locate them on our campus. All entrances are handicapped accessible. 
      • Parish Center – back of the building on 91st Street nearest to Clark Street
      • Parish Office – front of the building; blue door on Swan Boulevard nearest to Clark Street
      • Parish School – back of the building on 91st Street in the middle of the block. Look for a white portico with columns.
         
  • How can I join Christ King Parish?
    • Complete and send the Become a Member form. When we get the information we'll get a registration packet out to you right away.
    • Pick up a registration packet at the parish office. We're located in the rectory building on the southern end of the block (behind the Christ King sign on Swan Blvd) between Center & Clarke Streets and we're open weekdays from 8 a.m. until noon and from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m.

  • How do I register my child for Christ King School?

  • How do I register for Religious Education Classes at Christ King?
    • ​​Religious education is offered for students in K3 through grade 8. Christ King’s Religious Education program exists to support the role of parents in their responsibility for the Catholic formation of their children. Please download and complete the Religious Education Registration forms and submit them to the parish office.
       
  • How do I schedule a funeral mass at Christ King Parish?
    • Please call the parish office at 414-258-2604 to make arrangements.
